FEATURING: THE SKATE

Target: Kite wakeskating made easy for riders wanting to push the limits.

The 3-fin design gives the rider various options for fin position. When configured with two fins in the tail, the riders gets a true semi-directional skate feel. As the board tracks a bit better with two fins, the rider will know if they nailed that last rotation. This fin set-up also helps getting upwind in marginal conditions. The Skate is built with a vertically laminated wood core and ABS rails. The bottom is a slider proof PBT and the top features a plush SkateTop 3D EVA deck.

Strap on your shoes or even go barefoot. The Skate will expand your riding frontiers.

Place students in a large minibus and heat gently until the juices begin to run and the stoke rises. Add the Jam Sugar and heat gently, stirring continuously until the stoke boils over. Add alcohol. 2. Add white Oakley glasses, plenty of smack talk and boots (no skyhooks foo'). Still stirring, increase the heat and bring to a full rolling stoke, one that bubbles vigorously, shouts at passers by and cannot be stirred down. As soon as this stage is reached, start timing. 3. Soak in salt water for two days straight. Serve chilled. National Tour: Stop One: The SLIDER JAM, Par Sands, 11-13th November (Friday to Sunday) In Association with: Flexifoil, Mystic and Expix. Supported by King of Watersports and Ignite beanies. So its here again, the mighty Slider Jam!! 2 days of kiting, wakeboarding and partying with the SKA boys and girls. This is a perfect weekend to hone your skills on sliders and kickers, or try them for the very first time. With a kicker and flat bar floating on the flat flat water of Par Sands, this event will give the riders with all the chat the chance to step up to the plate, and those of you who haven’t had the chance to try sliders out a chance to do so. You'll also meet the raddest students in the UK, so if the locals at your beach aren't cool enough, come and say hello. Beginners weekend: Pictures and Report

View it in your browser. 2011 STARTS WITH A RESOUNDING SUCCESS THANKS TO OUR FRESHERS This weekend saw our biggest event to date with 108 freshers and their support crews descending on Aberavon beach in South Wales for 2 days of rock solid tuition from Blast Kiteboarding, and the first ever Super Sporty Kitesports and Beach Sports Sports Day! Zero to Hero Beginners Weekend - 14-16th October 2011 http://www.studentkitesurfing.co.uk. Image gallery available here. With thanks to Flexifoil, Mystic, Expix and Blast Kiteboarding Holy dooley, what a weekend! A massive thank you to everyone who turned up for the Zero to Hero beginner weekend just gone, we hope you made it back safe and sound. You all made the weekend a pleasure to host, and we hope you enjoyed yourselves as much as we did. To the Presidents and others who made it possible for your clubs to be there - thanks again for your commitment and support. We were stoked (And we don't take getting stoked lightly) to meet some of you for the first time, and to have those of you we met last year along to back up your beginners, especially when adverse weather conditions made it necessary to introduce the first National Super Sporty Kitesports and Beachsports Sports Day, which wouldn't have been nearly as hilarious (or offensive) without you all. Despite a busy day and heavy night, loads of you stepped up and helped out on Sunday morning, knocking out an impressive clean up operation in record time and making sure your beginners could be on the beach in time for lessons; again, thankyou for your help! Our hosts were delighted and have asked us to come back with a couple of hundred of our mates. Next year should be a good one! Back on the beach a few of you even managed to get out and enjoy the all too brief window of rideable wind, which was great to see. We really did have a sweet time, and can't wait to see you at the next event. In the meantime, we'll have to settle for reliving it all in horrifyingly high resolution - a job made far too easy by Ian and Jo from Expix.
