Oh hello! Sorry it's been a while, we know we've been less annoying than usual these past few months, but with exams about to start we're all thinking about the light at the end of the tunnel and this summer it's BEACH BREAK LIVE! Which you all know, obviously. So I'm not going to go on about it, we'll just see you there.
The other thing that's been on our minds is... who did we just put in charge of our clubs? Across the country you should have been voting in new committee's to take you on to bigger and better things come September. Litte do you know - that person is BRICKING IT right now about being handed the responsibility of a group of people, probably made up of veteran drinkers and ridiculously keen freshers in equal measure, because they're also about to start third (and maybe even final) year and have a dissertation or GDP to dominate.
So what we were thinking is, why don't you do them a favour and put them in touch with us? We had a pretty good start this year (if we do say so ourselves) and even though we didn't manage to quite complete our calendar of sweet events we nailed four of them (and I for one got totally pitted), and next year is going to go flawlessly. I promise. We've got a whole summer ahead of us and this time we want to know everything about you before we start hosting events which are 4 hours away from EVERYONE, just in case someone's coming from Edinburgh (although it is nice of you to make the effort Ally)
We're working on a whole bunch of stuff which I'm going to summarise here, so if you can help or if you think it's going to help you, or you just want to say hello, that'd all be lovely. My Skype details are at the bottom of this email and I'd welcome a call from each and every one of you, even if it's just to ask me what it's like in the green room (I don't know if I mentioned, but I'm a pretty big deal).
We're also realising that it's not just us that are super cool, loads of clubs have been doing sweet stuff by themselves the last few weeks, with a few sneaky trips to Portugal, Tarifa and Egypt spotted on Facebook since we got back from Easter, so we're going to put together a newsletter every month full of club news, so you can show off. If you ever want to be in it, we're not picky, just send me an email.
