Ruben's Len10 Megaloop challenge was the first ever megaloop competition in the history of kiteboarding, and Cape Town's 'Big Bay' couldn't be a better location to hold an event like this. Sam: "It was a lot of fun riding in the event as it was a nice relaxed atmosphere - it was more like a good session with your mates! "So living in Australia might not always mean sunny white beaches, meaning where I live, Melbourne, isn't always what you would stereotypically think of when Australia comes into mind. Melbourne has its days of blue sunny skies and a 20 knot sea breeze, but most of the time the water is full of sewerage and the beaches are packed every time there is wind. FEATURING: THE HAZE

Naish 2012 Haze Twintip

Target: Freeride performance and easy edging in all conditions.

The Haze is the ideal combination of reliability and user-friendliness, for all-around Freeride performance.

The Haze's new 3D single-concave bottom shape is the most pronounced in the midsection, for incredible tracking. Its outline blends moderately parallel rails with a progressive curve at the tips, for easier edging control.

For ultimate all-around performance in any condition, the Haze is the perfect choice for most freeriders.

  1. In kiteboarding, you can learn fast, but kiting is a sport and there are many skills that must be taught and mastered. Kite control, the first step in becoming a "kiter" is to become proficient in flying a power kite.
